Campaign Brief’s The WORK 2023: Ranking of the top production companies in Australasia

VANDAL has led the Australasian production company pack with 34 Acceptances earning it the title of The WORK 2023 Australasian Production Company of the Year. FINCH has ranked #2 with 33 Acceptances, followed by Airbag at #3 with 26 Acceptances, Revolver at #4 with 18 Acceptances and Rabbit at #5 with 16 Acceptances.

 

Scoundrel is ranked at #6 with 14 Acceptances, followed by Photoplay | Playtime at #7 with 12 Acceptances. Heckler, Limehouse and Squeak E Clean Studios share the #8 spot with 6 Acceptances apiece. Taxi Film Production is ranked #11 with 5 Acceptances, followed by ARC EDIT at #10 with 4 Acceptances. Collider, Sedona Productions and Sweetshop share the #11 spot with 3 Acceptances apiece and Exit Films, Fin Design + Effects and Heckler Sound share the #12 spot with 2 Acceptances apiece.

Having ranked #2 in both 2022 and 2021, VANDAL’s Acceptances for 2023 span some standout and highly awarded campaigns for Whitelion, Snapchat, BBC First, Macquarie Centre, Google, City of Sydney, ALDI, FOXTEL, The Iconic and Kraken.

In at #2 is FINCH with 29 Acceptances. Successful campaigns included UNHCR, ALDI, Ladbrokes, Tourism Tasmania, Tourism Australia, Toyota and Uber Eats amongst others.

With 26 Acceptances, in at #3 is Airbag. Featuring in the Top 3 for six years running, Airbag scored Acceptances for Porsche Australia, Honest Eggs, BWS, FWD and more.

Revolver is ranked #4 with 18 Acceptances for NRMA, MONA, R.M. Williams and Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency amongst others.

In at #5 is Rabbit with 16 Acceptances for Qantas, Hunt and Brew, Kia, P&O and more.

This year a total of 192 agencies and production companies in APAC submitted entries to Campaign Brief’s The Work 2023. This is up from 177 agencies and production companies that entered The Work in 2022. This is the 21st year of Campaign Brief’s THE WORK, recognised as a true record of creativity for the entire region, featuring the very best advertising of the year from Asia, Australia and New Zealand.

This year there were over 3,700 entries to The Work with the most entries coming from Australia (1391), Thailand (579), Philippines (503), Taiwan (410), China (397) and New Zealand (370).
