UnLtd: Hall of Good 2023 applications open to honour industry’s social impact

UnLtd, the media, marketing and creative industry’s social purpose organisation, has opened up applications for its annual Hall of Good award for 2023.

The acknowledgement recognises companies, campaigns and individuals in our industry that have made a significant positive impact to children and young people at risk.

The 2023 inductees to the UnLtd: Hall of Good will be announced at UnLtd’s annual Big Dream event taking place on 12 October in Melbourne.

Says Chris Freel, CEO of UnLtd: “We are fortunate to work with so many passionate individuals and companies using their skills and influence for good and making a real, positive difference to young people at risk. The UnLtd Hall of Good recognises and celebrates our industry’s change-makers, the individuals and organisations who demonstrate long-term commitment to making a positive difference in the world.”

The program has been running for four years and previous inductees include GroupM, Initiative, Maud & The Monkeys, Ogilvy, Paramount & Yahoo!. Last year, a new category was introduced for Social Change Maker of the Year with Philippa Noilea-Tani chosen as the first inductee for the category.

Says Melissa Fein, CEO of Initiative: “It was such a special honour to be inducted to the UnLtd: Hall of Good as Good Company of 2022. Giving back is a core part of our business and something we are truly committed to at every level of our business. There are so many companies doing good in our industry and it’s fantastic to have this special recognition to acknowledge those that are driving positive change for the next generation.”

There are three categories that are all free to enter. The Good Company category recognises companies that are showing long-term commitment to making a positive difference to young people at risk. The Campaign for Good category recognises the best pro-bono campaigns raising awareness and funds to help at-risk young people. The Social Change Maker category recognises individuals in our industry who are making a positive difference to the lives of young people at risk.
